Saturday 21st -> Sunday 29th October, 9.00am-10.00pm
Sydney Polo Club, Richmond, NSW
The XI FIP World Polo Championship Art Exhibition and the XI FIP Wold Polo Championship 2017, along with a festival of entertainment and activities, are to be held on the spectacular landscaped grounds of the Sydney Polo Club.
This exhibition will showcase the exquisite work of established and emerging Australian artists from across the nation. From artworks that invite the imagination, provoke thought, or engage us through the sheer magnificence of their aesthetic qualities, audiences will wander through a diverse range of artistic approaches and materials on the beautiful grounds of the prestigious Sydney Polo Club. A variety of sculptural forms and two-dimensional works will be exhibited indoors, whilst a superb outdoor space will see large sculptures transform the landscape into an open-air gallery.
The exhibition will be curated by Selina Hitches who “draws inspiration purely from life’s experiences and the environment.” She brings a wealth of knowledge to this exhibition, both as a local to the Hawkesbury and a nationally recognised artist.
